Project Title Good Bugs of the Garden
Insects To Study Beneficial Insects found at Univiersity of Illinois Greenhouse
Project Description University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator, Kelly Allsup, will do a presentation on finding and identifying some good bugs in the garden. We will have a few microscopes out and some examples. At 7:30 p.m., I would like to connect to the bugscope Program and look at a few specimens sent from the University of Illinois Research Greenhouse. The program participants will be ISU students, Master Gardeners, Master Naturalists and community members. It will be a great way to introduce future teachers to the program. Dr. Dave Kopsell will be the contact from Illinois State University.
