| Project Description | The students will collect various types of insects and use the microscope to view the insects in great detail to help understand that even the smallest structure can create an advantage over other creatures for survival. The students will view the bugs, generate a hypothesis on how these structures may be an advantage, then do some research, create a report using pictures from the bugscope data. Our unit is on adaptations and ecology. |
| Where did you hear about Bugscope? | I have used bugscope in the past when I was at a different school. I found the site by accident the first time. |
If you are the teacher, or would like to join as a guest, simply visit the Bugscope homepage at or shortly before the scheduled start time. The "Upcoming Sessions" list will be replaced by a link to join the live remote microscopy session.
