• Bugscope Team a calypter is called an alula as well, but only if it covers the haltere, according to a sort of helpful site on the web

• Bugscope Team as often occurs, the haltere is shriveled compared to what it looks like on a live fly

• Bugscope Team true bugs have piercing/sucking mouthparts like these
