- Bugscope Team You know we are ready to roll, Alex.
- Bugscope Team let's roll!
- Bugscope Team This is the back of the head of another fruit fly. You can see at least one ocellus, which there are three of -- the sort of primitive eyes they have on top of their heads.
- Bugscope Team Ocelli are used, we think, for orientation with the sun and thus an ability to find direction.
- Bugscope Team Annie should be on in a minute to clarify things.
- Bugscope Team You.
- Bugscope Team Just getting ready...
- Bugscope Team I was just reading the other day, I have no idea where, that there are some nocturnal flies that have super-huge occelli to compensate for the dim light... of the moon I'd guess since the sun is gone
- Bugscope Team oh. ocelli, that's interesting. my step dad tracked birds, and the whole idea is to try and figure out how they set their magnetic compass...
- Bugscope Team Didn't he live down the street from Glenn?
- Teacher Hi everyone! Bernie here. Sarah Scott middle school is here this afternoon. They have lots of questions for you!
- 3:57pm
- Bugscope Team great
- Bugscope Team Great! We are ready as we will be.
- Bugscope Team Annie, our entomologist, should be on soon as well.
- Bugscope Team bernie: Will you be able to use Firefox again today instead of Internet Explorer?
- Bugscope Team are any of the students going to login separately on other computers?
- Bugscope Team Be sure to go to all the presets today. We will ensure that you have control of the microscope.
- Bugscope Team Okay ocelli are thought not to be able to distinguish direction but rather have to do with recognizing the horizon.
- Bugscope Team ben wonders what happened to scott's last 't'
- Teacher I will make sure we use all the presets. These girls are a tad more science savy
- Bugscope Team I was saving it to log into another computer.
- Bugscope Team And then I didn't.
- Bugscope Team what about using firefox, bernie? you'll like it much better!
- 4:02pm
- Teacher hi im vonquella what am i looking at
- Bugscope Team This is the back of the head of a fruit fly, Vonquella.
- Bugscope Team You can see the compound eye, and one of the antennae, and the ocelli.
- Teacher I THOUGHT IT WAS SOME KIND OF INSECT
- Bugscope Team Ocelli are like eyes.
- Bugscope Team A fruit fly is an insect for sure.
- Student Scot
- Bugscope Team Be sure to change the mag if you want.
- Bugscope Team Hello QB.
- Bugscope Team also, antennae on an insect are things they use to probe the world around them. not the ones you use for your TV
- Teacher Hi my name is Dionna
- Bugscope Team Hi Dionna!
- Bugscope Team Hi Dionna. Welcome to bugscope.
- Bugscope Team Please try changing to a new preset or a new magnification.
- Teacher So what is this anyway?
- Student How old are you Scot
- Bugscope Team This is the head of a fruit fly,.
- Bugscope Team The back of the head of a fruit fly.
- Bugscope Team You can see the part in the middle, low down, is the compound eye -- one of them.
- Student I don't get it??
Bugscope Team we're looking at the insects as if they were about 200x larger than they really are. thus, this fruit fly's head is filling the whole picture here. if we move to the lower right we'll see more of its body
- Student hi
- Bugscope Team The compound eye has lots of individual facets called ommatidia.
- Bugscope Team decrease the magnification and you might see the bug better
- Student Who is Bug Girl
- 4:07pm
- Bugscope Team Please try another preset or change the magnification. This could be dynamic.
- Student bria
- Bugscope Team Hi Bria.
- Student HEY THIS IS VONQUELLA AGAIN
- Bugscope Team Oh Yeah Hi Vonquella!
- Student I didn't know that???
- Student HI SCOT
- Student what is your faviorte
- Bugscope Team And DeeDee.
- Student there are other girls on here to Scot, this is DeeDee

- Bugscope Team Hello all
- Bugscope Team Your favorite insect or arthropod?
- Bugscope Team Hi Annie!
- Student I WAS JUST TELLING WAT I THOUGHT IT WAS
- Student What college do you go to Scot?
- Bugscope Team I used to know a girl named DeeDee in high school. I think her name for real was Delores.
- Student i
- Student hi
- Bugscope Team This is the University of Illinois. But I went to the University of Kansas.
- Student OH HOW DID U GET SCOT THEN
- Bugscope Team 'fancy
- Bugscope Team Where's Bernie?
- Bugscope Team Hmm
- Bugscope Team that didn't work
- Student SHE IS GETTIN SUM ONE SET UP
- Bugscope Team Cool, thanks Quella.
- Student HOW CAN WE LOOK AT A DIFFRENT PIC
- Bugscope Team Yeah I think that is a good idea...

- Bugscope Team I think they estimate 400 million years...does that seem reasonab;le?
- Student Hi it is bernie, I have quite a few girls on laptops now
- Bugscope Team reasonable, that is
- 4:12pm
- Student Changing the presets
- Bugscope Team This is part of a ladybug's chemosensory palp.
- Bugscope Team Give DeeDee control.
- Bugscope Team oop you already did -- thanks
- Student I like lady bugs
- Bugscope Team DeeDee (bernie) i just gave you control of the scope, try and change a preset
- Bugscope Team Now DeeDee you can drive the 'scope using the controls on the right.
- Student Bernie again, please ask them questions about their science knowledge
- Student Hey Alex
- Bugscope Team Yo Queeb Bee
- Student What is a butterfly?
- Bugscope Team a butterfly is an insect in the order Lepidoptera
- Student WAT A SLOW QUESTION
- Student What is a moth???
- Student WAT IS THIS PIC
- Bugscope Team With long siphoning mouthparts
- Bugscope Team I like that -- a slow question.

- Student Thankyou!!
- Bugscope Team the difference between moths and butterflies is somewhat open to debate. Generally moths fly during the night, and butterflies during the day
- Student I'm not sure?
- Student SUM ONE KNO WAT THIS PIC IS
- Bugscope Team This is part of a ladybug's mouthparts.
- Student O
- Bugscope Team Listen to Annie 'cause she knows.
- Bugscope Team ;)
- Bugscope Team This thing that looks like a vacuum cleaner nozzle is part of what the ladybug uses to taste the air.
- Bugscope Team But, again, it is somwhat open to debate
- Student Quella do u know alot about insects?
- Student YEAH SUM WAT WHY? GOT A QUESTION

- Student How long does it take for a butterfly to emerge?
Bugscope Team It depends upon the butterfly

- 4:17pm
- Student are there ever insects living on insects
- Student WAT IS THAT

- Student I don't know

- Student ANYONE SUM ONE
- Bugscope Team Some have several generations each year, some have only one
- Bugscope Team There is a mite, which is not an insect but an arrthropod, on an ant here.
- Bugscope Team Quella this now is part of the claw of a ladybug.
- Bugscope Team in the case of muliple generations, a butterfly can complete its life cycle: egg-adult in a month or so
- Student This is DeeDee again, how long did it take you to learn all about this?
Bugscope Team me?
- Bugscope Team The little white things are called brochosomes, and they come from leafhoppers, which the ladybug has probably been eating.
- Student BRE ASKED IF ANYONE WANT TO ANSWER HER QUESTION
- Student what % of insects can fly
- Bugscope Team if you work with this stuff you pick it up pretty quick.
- Bugscope Team Ladybugs will eat other bugs.
- Bugscope Team That is the answer to Bre's question.
- Student LIKE WHAT???
- Bugscope Team Yes, ladybugs each other aphids or scale insects, which are insects found on leaves and grass and other things in a garden
- Bugscope Team Like lefhoppers, for one.
- Student Why do ladybugs eat each other sometimes?
- Bugscope Team leafhoppers
- Student WAT IS THAT
- Student what yall in school for
- Student thanks
- Student Does anyone like worms?
- Student what is the strongest insect on earth
- Student A LEFHOPPER
- Student NO
- Bugscope Team No one likes worms.
- Student WHY
- Bugscope Team Quella I am sorry I misspelled leafhopper.
- Student I ate one
- Student NASTY
- Student why do mosquitoe bites itch
Bugscope Team They itche because the mosquito insects an enzyme into your skin when they bite you (to keep your blood from clotting). Some people are allergic to that enzyme
- Bugscope Team There used to be a rumor that Wendy's sold wormburgers.
- Student lol
- Student thatz nasty
- Student Because we need to learn?
- 4:22pm
- Student I KNOW BUT I'T STILL NASTY
- Student what u wont to be when u finish school
- Student get over it
- Student DO ANYBODY KNOW HOW LONG DID ANY BUG LIVED????
Bugscope Team I am not sure if I understand the question, but some insects can remain dormant for up to 20 years

- Student WAT IS THIS PICTURE OF
Bugscope Team this is cool, it's the EYE of a fly!
- Bugscope Team I dunno what I want to be when I am finished at school. I know I want to live somewhere warm and study beetles.
- Student what is yall fav type of bugs or athropods
- Student REALLY
- Bugscope Team Bugs live different lengths of time. It seems most of them last only one season.
- Student thats cool
- Student what bug lives the longest
- Bugscope Team I like mites. And ticks. I like the critters that are specialized as opposed to, like, roaches.
- Student So how can you see all of these things up close and still beable to take a picture?
- Student What are you going to collage to be?
- Student WAT KIND OF BUG EYE ?
- Bugscope Team My favorite insects are longhorned beetles: that is what I study
- Bugscope Team I am in graduate school working on my PhD in entomology--which is the study of insects
- Student WHAT ABOUT EVERY ONE ELSE. WHAT DO YALL GON DO WHEN YALL FINISH SCHOOL??????
- Student roaches n beetles are both disgusting
- Bugscope Team beetles are NOT disgusting!

- Student WHAT IS THE STRONGEST INSECT ON EARTH

- Bugscope Team roaches are disgusting, beetles not so much
- Student MY FAVORITE INSECT IS A BUTTERFLY BUT I'M STILL SCARED OF I'T. LOL
- Bugscope Team here is a beutiful picture of a beetle: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Colorado_potato_beetle.jpg
- Student where are most bugs found
- Student I LIKE SNAKE ANYONE ELSE LIKE SNAKES
- Bugscope Team not sure about the strongest insect -- you mean for its size?
- Bugscope Team i'm married to a snake
- Student what was the first type of bug that live on this planet
- Bugscope Team so i guess i like them.
- Bugscope Team Bugs are almost everywhere on earth, on the terrestrial parts.
- 4:28pm
- Student I LOVE SNAKES SENSE BERNIE LET ME MEET HERS
- Bugscope Team Alex where in the world did that statement come from?
- Bugscope Team That is a hard question: there are more ants than any other animal on the planet--so in terms of numbers, you could say that ants are the strongest insects. Ants can also lift many times more than their body weight. I am going with ants
- Bugscope Team someone asked if we liked snakes
- Student THAT'S NOT COOL TO BE MARRIED TO A SNAKE!!!!
- Student how long can a roach live with its head cut off?
- Student can a butterfly live without wingz
- Bugscope Team This is the eye of a housefly.

- Bugscope Team No one knows what the first insect to live on the earth was. The oldest fossil is of a little springtail-type insect that was found in the Rhynie Chert
- Bugscope Team I kept a roach alive without its head for almost a whole week
- Bugscope Team I'm not sure if it]s living without its head. It is definitely pilotless.
- Student flays
- Student WHAT R U GUYS TALKING ABOUT NOW
- Student You call them Beetles BEUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Bugscope Team where is the rhynie chert annie?
- Bugscope Team I am trying to figure that out myself Quella.
- Student is there any insects in antartica
Bugscope Team Yes, there are flies, beetles, springtails
- Bugscope Team The Rhynie Chert is in Canada---right?
- Bugscope Team Some beetles are pretty cool looking.
- Student THAT PICTURE IS NASTY
- Student do we use insects in medicine
Bugscope Team We do use insects in medicine. Medical maggots and leeches are both gaining popularity in cleaning infected wounds.

- Student i KNOW!!!!!!!
- Student WHAT IS THIS PICTURE OF ?
- Student IS IT FUN BEING IN COLLEGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Bugscope Team This, now, is a spine on the leeg of a beetle.
- Student what is a RHYNIE CHERT
Bugscope Team The Rhynie Chert is a famous very old fossil bed in Canada (I think it is in Canada) I should check. I will check
- Bugscope Team Oh yeah. College can be too much fun.
- Student ?
- Student It is amazing the way you can look at all these things up close!!!!!!!!!
- 4:33pm
- Student WHY DO YOU SAY THAT!!!!?????
- Bugscope Team being in college is fun. you are on your own for the first time AND you are learning interesting things.
- Student LIKE WHAT!!!!!!????!!!!!
- Bugscope Team If you go to college and go wild 'cause you're free of supervision you can have too much fun and not study.
- Student how do you get the medicine from the insects
Bugscope Team The maggots are actually placed on/in an infected wound. The maggots then eat away all the infected, dead flesh from the wound. THis helps the wound to heal
- Student hello
- Student CAN AN INSECT KILL A PERSON OR HUGE ANIMALS
- Bugscope Team i checked annie, the rhynie chert is in scotland: http://www.abdn.ac.uk/rhynie/what.htm
- Bugscope Team grind them up and eat them
- Bugscope Team if that's the same rhyine chert?
- Bugscope Team think about those Africanized honeybees -- the killer bees.
- Bugscope Team They can collectively sting people to death.
- Student CAN BEES REALLY KILL U
Bugscope Team Yes, especially if you are allergic to insect bites/venom in general. Mostly though, they are just painful. The problem with the african bees, as Scot said, si that they swarm you!
- Student uuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh
- Bugscope Team GAH! Scotland. I was wrong
- Student How long can a scorpion live w/out food
Bugscope Team Scorpions can probably live 3-6 months without food. That is entirely speculative
- Student ARE ANY OF YOU GUYS MARRIED???????
- Bugscope Team Umm no one is married, of us, except Ben.
- Bugscope Team Really?
- Bugscope Team Oh Daniel is married, he's here now.
- Bugscope Team Sorry Holmes.
- Bugscope Team :-)
- Bugscope Team Scott is married to his work.
- Bugscope Team ouch
- Student LOL
- 4:38pm
- Student loo
- Bugscope Team Yeah if I was married I wouldn't be doing this?
- Bugscope Team Sorry I'm late, gang. The advisor & post doc wanted to talk with me...
- Student WHAT IS LOO MEAN?????????
- Student WHAT YOUE NAME
- Bugscope Team LOL = lot's of laughs
- Student YOU FUNNY
- Student not much
- Student LAUGH OUT LOUD
- Student what is the strongestinsect?
Bugscope Team I think I would say that ants are the strongest insects beucase there are more of them than any other type of insect and because they can pick up things that weigh many times more than they themselves do
- Bugscope Team We had a praying mantis as a pet once, and it went several weeks without eating. Of course it was senescing at the time (slowly dying at the end of the season) so it may not have wanted to eat too much at the time.
- Bugscope Team Loo means toilet to Brits.
- Student what kind of music do you guyz like
- Student WHY DIDN'T YOU GUYS WRITE IYONNA?????????
Bugscope Team Someone's answering iyonna now...
- Student Does a stink bug rerally stink?
Bugscope Team Yes, some of them really do stink. A bad, pooty-kind of stink. They usually don't do that unless you pester them though.
- Bugscope Team Annie thinks ants are the strongest.
- Student CAN U LIVE OF BUS
- Student I MEAN BUGS
- Bugscope Team I like Rachael Yamagata right now, for music.
- Student do people really eat bugs
- Bugscope Team Some people eat bugs, especially larvae.
- Student Do dragonflies eat other bugs? What kind do they eat, if they do?
Bugscope Team Yes. I'll talk about the young ones (ack! I'm drawing a blank on what the immature dragonflies are called Annie!): they will eat just about anything in the water, including entire tadpoles. I accidentally had one in a tank with about 50 toad tadpoles and over one weekend the dragonfly nymph ate the whole thing. (That's the word I was looking for.)

- Bugscope Team No one there has control now.

- Student what is the strangest insect
Bugscope Team The strangest insects are those that have very complicated parasitic life cycles
- Bugscope Team This is a mite hanging out on the abdomen of a flying ant.
- Bugscope Team Earlier I insinuated that leeches are insects....they are not insects and I know that....
- Student what is the largest insect
- Bugscope Team This is a neat picture, a small mite on another bug!
- 4:43pm
- Bugscope Team Goliath Beetle is one of the biggest insects, the size of your fist.
- Student IYONNA SAID DON'T TALK TO HER....
- Student are insects reluted to dinosaurs
- Student hi it is bernie, moving the preset.
- Bugscope Team So like Iyonna is upset?
- Student AAAAA YESSSSSSSSSSSSS
- Student what about an arthropod what is the largest one?
- Student None of the girls are upset. They are having a lot of fun
- Student are you a scientist?
- Bugscope Team Crabs, king crabs.
- Bugscope Team BIg arthropods.
- Student SHE DIDN'T WRITE WHAT YALL THOUGHT SHE SAID................
- Bugscope Team ah, yes, good call scot, king crabs are very big
- Bugscope Team I am a graduate student...studying to get a PhD
- Student are any of you going to be scietist
- Student WHAT DO A PHD DEGREE IS
Bugscope Team Sorry QB: I kind of answered your question in with the others. A PhD is the highest degree you can get in college (other than an MD - medical doctor), and it shows that you really know something and can do original, unique research in your field of interest. They award PhDs in just about every subject you can think of. But what you need, QB, is simply an interest in something so strong you just want to work with it and study it all the time. If that makes you happy, then a PhD may be good for you.
- Student you mean scientist bug girl
- Bugscope Team I too am a graduate student...studying to get a PhD
- Student im thinking about it
- Student yes
- Bugscope Team what do you want to study bug girl?
- Student ???????????????????????
- Bugscope Team A PhD is what they call a "doctorate of philosophy" which is supposed to mean you did lots of hard work and research and stuff. Really PhD stands for "Piled Higher and Deeper", which is how you really get ahead in this world! (Just kidding!) (Sort of!) :-)
- Student i dont know im only 13
- Bugscope Team that's okay. what is your favorite subject in school?
- Student What is the deadliest insect?

- Student I DONT GET IT???????????????
- 4:48pm
- Bugscope Team Bug Girl: You have plenty of time to make up your mind. But think about what you really like to do, what interests you and can make you feel proud at the end of the day that you did something good for others and for yourself. If you can find that, and pursue it like crazy, then you'll be pretty satisified with your life!
- Bugscope Team Mosquitos can be deadly if they have a disease that kills you.
- Bugscope Team The deadliest insect is the mosquito---they vector diseases that have killed more people that any other animal in the world
- Bugscope Team Queen Bee what is the deal?
- Student math is ok
- Student HELLO IS ANY GOING TO ANSWER MEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Bugscope Team cool!
- Bugscope Team i like math too.
- Student no
- Student Do you know what an earwig is? we have them in our house
- Student what is the smallest insect?
- Bugscope Team QB Daniel had answered you about the PhD. Was that it?
- Student So do you think that getting a phd will be hard for you Daniel?
- Bugscope Team math is interesting because with mathematical logic you can actually prove things in ways that no other scientific field can prove!
- Student mmmmmm
- Bugscope Team We like earwigs here because they almost always have mites, like the one in the image above.
- Student MY FAULT PUT I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE PILE DEEPER THING???????????????
Bugscope Team And by Piled Higher and Deeper - that is slang for giving a lot of baloney to people until you have them fooled into thinking you really know something! :-)
- Student Do earwigs really crawl in your ears?
- Bugscope Team Daniel likes that kind of stuff. He is a perennial student.
- Student Why do bees sting
- Bugscope Team They could crawl in your ears but they don't on purpose.
- Student THAT IS NASTY
- Bugscope Team bees sting to defend themselves
- Student WHO LIKES WORMS
- Bugscope Team Bees sting to protect themselves and their nests.
- Bugscope Team D'Oh.
- Student WHAT IS A PERENNIAL STUDENT?????????????
- Bugscope Team Like a perennial flower, it always comes back up.
- Student OOOOOOOOOOOOO
Bugscope Team (Of course you realize that "baloney" is just another word for something that male cows produce after eating a lot of grass. ;-)
- Student oooh!
- Student WHERE CAN U FIND THOSE FLOWERS
- Student How do the bugs ?
- 4:53pm
- Student Do insects produce toxic chemicals
- Bugscope Team Tulips are like that, daffodils, iris...
- Student How do the bugs that show up in the flour sack get there?
Bugscope Team A lot of them got there in the factory that bagged the flour. They get in as tiny little eggs that you'd normally just bake right into your cookies without even noticing. But if the flour sits around long enough, the insects will hatch out. They can also get into the flour by eating a hole right through the bag! I've had bugs do this in my pantry - eat holes right through 1/8-inch solid cardboard to get into something.
- Bugscope Team Yes insects can produce toxic chemicals, and bad smelling chemicals.
- Student Are ticks out? Are they in the woods again?
- Bugscope Team I think they start as eggs or larvae and then turn into beetls in the flour sack.
- Student WHAT ARE IRIS
- Student Do mosquitoes relyal
- Bugscope Team Iris are these cool flowers that have flattened leaves that sort of fan out together.
- Student WHY DO ANTS GO UNDER THINGS AND ROUND UP??????????????
- Bugscope Team Tribolium casteneum
- Bugscope Team Is anyone still driving around?
- Bugscope Team Tribolium anyway.
- Student WHAT IS TRIBOLIUM CASTENEUM???????????
Bugscope Team The red flour beetle
- Bugscope Team DeeDee has control.
- Bugscope Team I have been driving sometimes.
- Bugscope Team I think I misspelled the species name.
- Student YOU CAN'T DRIVE???????????
- Bugscope Team DeeDee, ya need to put the petal to the metal! :-)

- Student Hi bernie it is bernie, we seemed to have locked up on our screen. I think the museum admin locked us out. They will do the sometimes when the museum is closing.
- Bugscope Team pedal to the meddle
- Student THANKS ANNIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Bugscope Team Whoops. There I go, thinking about flowers again. :-)
- Bugscope Team Daniel is going to get his PhD in, like, flowerology.
- Student bernie again, I took over her control i'm trying to unlock our screen
- Student how big is the biggest species of ant?
Bugscope Team They are about an inch and a half long
- 4:59pm
- Bugscope Team They are called dinosaur ants!
- Student YOU CAN'T DRIVE EITHER SCOT YOU WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT WITH ME IN YOU HIT MY TAIL GATE BUT WE SURVIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Student bernie again, I hope you are enjoying our sarah scott girls! They are all Super Stars!
- Student how many species of ants are there?
- Bugscope Team Oh Boy.
- Bugscope Team I can look it up
- Bugscope Team Yeah I think you are right.

- Student JUST PLAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCOT............
- Bugscope Team DeeDee (bernie) from our end it looks like you still have control, so it should work unless there is something wrong.
- Bugscope Team QB you are cool.
- Student IN YOU KNOW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Bugscope Team I know it.
- Student not
- Bugscope Team 9500 species of ants
- Bugscope Team HA! good one bug girl
- Bugscope Team Uh oh a little dissent in the ranks.
- Student bernie again, I don't know what happened on our end. My screen for the preset is dark, though I can still drive with no pic
- Bugscope Team one word dissent
- Student BUG GIRL WHAT DIDYOU SAY????????????
- Bugscope Team Can you reload the page?
- Bugscope Team hmm, try refreshing the screen DeeDee
- Bugscope Team duh I mean what Alex said
- Student let me try
- Bugscope Team DeeDee, hit F5, or click on the refresh button in your browser
- Bugscope Team we lost DeeDee
- Student you read it
- Bugscope Team Meanwhile QB is thrashing Bug Girl.
- Bugscope Team bernie, i just gave you control, can you drive the scope now?
- Student looks like it is working
- Student NO YOU NEED YO REFRESH YO MEMORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Bugscope Team yay!
- Bugscope Team Bug Girl is, like, concise.

- Student Annie how do you know that there's 9500 species of ants?
- Bugscope Team yes, and she likes math. she is way cool.
- Bugscope Team I looked it up in a book that I have---the Evolution of the Insects
- Bugscope Team She just knows that stuff because she studies it all the time.
- 5:04pm
- Bugscope Team Ben and Cathy are on.
- Student No thrashing each other here! It's all friendly

- Bugscope Team iyonna, you can also find information like that on the internet. allthough it's usually more reliable when you find it in an authored book
- Bugscope Team am not

- Bugscope Team Good I am glad to hear that Iyonna.

- Student I KNOW BUT I STILL WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU SAID?????????
- Bugscope Team haha, I don't know that off hand...I don't know much about ants
- Student WHO ON HERE IS MARRIED WIT KIDS OR ONE OF THE 2
- Student I'T MIGHT SOUND LIKE A DUM QUESTION BUT WHAT DO CONCISE MEAN?????????????????
Bugscope Team Concise means short and to the point.

- Bugscope Team concise means right to the point

- Student THANKS
- Bugscope Team concise means acurate, presise, to the point, right on, spot on,
- Bugscope Team i might have mispelled like 2-3 words in that last sentence
- Bugscope Team sorry

- Bugscope Team Alex like it's a big deal Dude.
- Student THANKS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR GIVING ME THE RIGHT ANSWER!!!!!!!!!!
- Bugscope Team And the grammar was, like, really, like, bad, man. :-)
- Bugscope Team But Cathy is keeping track, like one of Santa's spies.
- Bugscope Team hee hee
- Bugscope Team yep
- Bugscope Team Actually, punctuation.
- Student HEAR FROM YA SOON HOPE
- Bugscope Team '?
- Student we have to go see you guys next time
- Bugscope Team I insinuated that leeches were insects earlier...remember.
- Bugscope Team Thank You! We will be glad to connect again.
- Student g2g bye happy easter thanks
- Bugscope Team Whoops. Sorry. Fingers went crackerdog there.
- Bugscope Team This was fun.
- Student We have to start closing up for the day so everyone will be thanking you!
- Bugscope Team hope you had a good learning experience!
- Bugscope Team Lots of intelligent questions today..I like it!
- Student They will be sending you a card in the mail next week!
- 5:09pm
- Bugscope Team BYE EVERYONE!
- Bugscope Team oh nice we will be looking forward to getting it
- Bugscope Team thanks bernie, great job this time.
- Bugscope Team Bye QB.

- Bugscope Team bye!!!!

- Bugscope Team bernie is just about to leave, and now ben is testing bugscope from his home with dsl conections

- Bugscope Team whoa, what's that
- Bugscope Team ben is driving like mad
- Student tiff #1 said bye
- Bugscope Team Ben is testing a slow connection from his house to see how it goes.

- Bugscope Team bye bye tiff #1!

- Bugscope Team Thanks Annie!
- Bugscope Team Did you eat all of that pasta?
- Bugscope Team Bye Annie. Get your homework done.
- 5:14pm
- Bugscope Team bye annie have fun
- Bugscope Team thnks annie, you were great at answer those tough bug questions

- Bugscope Team Yes...every bite!!! Gwaa hah hahaha
- Bugscope Team later annie

- Bugscope Team bye guys ;)
- Bugscope Team alright now have a good trip Annie
- Bugscope Team interesting, a chat repeat of TWO lines. never seen that before.

- Bugscope Team I will for sure

- Bugscope Team ;)

- Bugscope Team bye really

- Bugscope Team cause it doesn't coat well?

- Bugscope Team ok. i'm going to loadup FF to compare
- Bugscope Team i tried to help it from charging by painting the edges
- Bugscope Team Yeah because it doesn't connect to the substrate so the charge cannot run to ground.
- Bugscope Team that'll do it
- Bugscope Team no ground and your charge goes haywire

- Bugscope Team The best places to try imaging are at the edges, as Cathy says...
- 5:19pm

- Bugscope Team Cathy so like what is for dinner over there?

- Bugscope Team Flying mite.

- Bugscope Team On a flying any belly.
- Bugscope Team ant

- Bugscope Team i'm showing kate an ant rear
- Bugscope Team great image ben

- Bugscope Team great
- Bugscope Team kate says it's disgusting

- Bugscope Team Welcome to Dingleberryton.
- Bugscope Team it is! that's why it's great.
- Bugscope Team heh
- Bugscope Team booty
- Bugscope Team WHAT IS DINGLEBERRY?????????????????????
- Bugscope Team IOTW IOTW IOTW IOTW

- Bugscope Team Daniel tjhose guys about the tours are out of the blue somehow

- Bugscope Team we did not schedule a tour on the 16th, and we wouldn't

- Bugscope Team ben should do a bugscope sessions, he acutally MOVES the scope around

- Bugscope Team maybe they're thinking of MRL or something
- Bugscope Team It's like he's got a TV remote control flipping through the channels.
- Bugscope Team I don't know what to think about that guy. First he says he wants a tour with me to talk about what sounds suspiciously like microscopy, then he ignores what I wrote not once but twice, then claims that his "professor" has a tour already scheduled.
- Bugscope Team weird
- Bugscope Team well, i'd say IE7 at home on slow DSL (1.5Mb) is usable. It's not great, and it's not as good as FF on the same connection, but it works.
- Bugscope Team Well I should have written him but I don't like the idea of custom individual tours, and call me on my cell
- Bugscope Team cool.
- Bugscope Team I should clarify that 'usable' means it really does work as opposed to previous options. And without any hassle.
- Bugscope Team Hi guys
- Bugscope Team Looked like you were bookin' along.
- Bugscope Team The guy called you on your cell?
- Bugscope Team No, he told us to call him on his cell to get the tour arranged asap.
- Bugscope Team No he wanted us to call him.
- 5:24pm
- Bugscope Team Chas doesn't show up in the admin list on my IE
- Bugscope Team Like this is a boutique.
- Bugscope Team heh
- Bugscope Team Nice dups on the chat lines.
- Bugscope Team yeah, i'll respond to the guy tomorrow and try and get it straightened out
- Bugscope Team try refreshing?
- Bugscope Team Try watermelon.
- Bugscope Team so chas, IE at home does work. the faux video is clunky, but it works. i can drive around. FF is much smoother at home.
- Bugscope Team (as expected)
- Bugscope Team yah! gimme gimme
- Bugscope Team I haven't seen refreshing problems in FF/SF since I made a couple changes, but the other day it looked like scott logged into IE6 was behind on the presets
- Bugscope Team so maybe I need to look into that
- Bugscope Team Refresh didn't fix it
- Bugscope Team yup, i think IE is done!
- Bugscope Team well, except for this not showing up in the list thing :)
- Bugscope Team if only the world could be done with IE....
- Bugscope Team agreed
- Bugscope Team ok, i'm outta herez. thankz for letting me drive.
- Bugscope Team later ben
- Bugscope Team Cool.
- Bugscope Team I'm out too. gotta cram from a quiz
- Bugscope Team cramming isnt good! bad chas
- Bugscope Team shutdown and vent? whoa, scope just ffreeked
- Bugscope Team beautiful presets.
- Bugscope Team we may have a problem
- Bugscope Team scope just vented and no one touched it
- Bugscope Team cramming is ok if it means he spent more time on BUGSCOPE! :)
- Bugscope Team huh? what happened?
- Bugscope Team no!
- Bugscope Team PCLB error
- Bugscope Team PLCB
- Bugscope Team *sigh*
- Bugscope Team oh yah. dupe chat lines on FF
- Bugscope Team try pressing the vacuum button
- Bugscope Team but it looks like it's just my chat lines if I typed them in IE
- Bugscope Team TEST99
- Bugscope Team Maybe we should switch to Dyson. A Dyson never loses suction.
- Bugscope Team scott is here workign on it
- Bugscope Team http://www.johnberman.com/pics/funny/not_this_shit_again.jpg
- Bugscope Team hmm, didn't repeat itself.
- 5:30pm
- Bugscope Team well, good luck with the scope
- Bugscope Team did scott's personal EM field make the scope go down this time?
- Bugscope Team water temp too high
- Bugscope Team Chime in with how frequently you saw duplicate lines. I'll try to track it down. it's hard to replicate
- Bugscope Team he's rebooting the pc
- Bugscope Team It's his B.O. Disrupts radio waves and radar and such.
- Bugscope Team i saw duplicates twice in the session. i was a very busy session.
- Bugscope Team Chas, I saw it happen at least four times from 4:30 until now.
- Bugscope Team i didn't get any duplicates this time
- Bugscope Team all right well, Chas goood luck with your cramming, and Alex tell Scott to email me if anything 'new' happens
- Bugscope Team 6478-6480, 6298-6299, 6296-6297. Lots of instances of missing numbered lines.
- Bugscope Team I thought there was another instance of a duplication but I must have scrolled by it.
- 5:38pm
- Bugscope Team 6423 skips to 6425 with no intervening private chat line. I don't know when you assign the line numbers, but most of them do check out ok if you insert the line number for private chat lines.
- Bugscope Team hmm... I'll check it out later then. thanks for pointing those out
- Bugscope Team adios all
- Bugscope Team Also, 6362 skips to 6365, 6348 to 6350, 6288 to 6290. I could probably find more.
