| Project Description | The goal of BUGSCOPE in this session is two-fold. The first purpose is to enrich pre-service teacher background knowledge on insects and on electron microscopy as it compares to light microscopy. The second purpose is to explore applications of this technology to developing science curriculum for grades K-8. The class is 99% female, 70% Caucasian and 30% African American and other races. Students will be encouraged to collaborate with teachers in their clinical placements. |
